Route through New Mexico
Just across the TX/NM border, we were able to walk
through the big room.
Over 750 feet below the surface.
Near Alamogordo, White Sands Missile Range,
and the Trinity Site. (First Nuclear Bomb)
On the dunes of gypsum.
Just like snow--it was even chilly there.
The VLA, a series of radio telescopes peering into
deep space.
VLA (very large array). Such a low-tech
name for such a high tech site.
And on to Arizona.
