January Cruise

Fun on board the Carnival Dream.
Dennis is ready for the first putt, while
 Richard Solomon hits his 8th!

Judy, in the Bahamas

No luck on souvenirs.  We'll try another island!

Statue of Victoria Regina et Imperatrix
in downtown Nassau.

On Saint Thomas ferry, heading to St. John.
Judy, Janice Kane, Richard Solomon, and on the
third row, Don and Susan Anderson.

Same group on Saint John for a refreshing local brew
before our hike through the jungle in the National Park.

Our favorite pose and another National Park visited.

Beginning the hike to Honeymoon Beach.

On the trail with Don and Susan.

At the beach, making ready for wading.

Fun at the beach!

View from the trail of Cruz Bay, St John, USVI

In downtown Charlotte Amalie, The capital of USVI,
 is the "capitol" building.

At all of the US capitols, there is a replica of the
Liberty Bell.  This one was given to the USVI by Virginia,
because the Jamestown settlers spent three days here before
heading to and establishing the first
English speaking settlement in the US.

The day is done and we pose for one
more picture before heading to the ship
 and MORE food.

At Saint Martin, there were nine cruise ships docked as we
began our adventures.  We did not go far, but enjoyed
a relaxing time in the streets and
on the beach, and people watching.

A local brew stop to rest our feet.

View down the tree-lined avenue to the
Court House with a new friend.

Judy's new friend looks a little familiar.

We found a nice shady spot to relax and
people-watch before heading back to the ship.

The cruise is over and we wait in line to get our luggage.
We do not know the couple in the lower left of the photo,
but perhaps we should--they both have such nice smiles!
