Maryland

Our route through Maryland.


Visiting one of the bloodiest
 Civil War battlefields.  
23,000 killed or wounded.








We just traveled through Maryland and visited
 a few National Parks sites. 
 This one makes 325 units visited.

We have visited the C and O Canal NHP along the Potomac 
before but not at these locations.









Sitting on the back porch of Ferry Hill plantation house
 above the Potomac River and C and O Canal.


We happened upon a water snake having a catfish lunch.

Virginia is next.
