William Henry Harrison battled against Tecumseh and won here. Afterword the remaining Patawatomi were marched at rifle point to Kansas. That 660 miles was covered in three months on the "trail of death".

Milk production tops 250,000 gallons per day!

There are eight families running operation on nearly 40,000 acres.
It is one of the largest dairys in the world.
It also produces its own electricity from methane extracted from the manure.
This turntable is the milking station. The cows move onto the platform and are milked and then back off. The process takes about ten minutes and yields about 3 gallons of milk per cow.
The cows learn quickly to get on and off the turntable and appear to enjoy the operation.
There are eight turntables and they operate 21 hours per day.
After visiting the dairy we stopped in Monon, IN and toured the famous? railroad and museum.
I was chained down and could not power the hand car down the track.
It is hot here too! So, we are heading toward Wisconsin in a day or two. We are watching the weather to make sure we are not affected by rain. All is going well and we miss some of you--guess which!
